This is not a magic heater that heats a room with a 150-200 watt light bulb. As advertised, this is a personal heater, not a space heater, and creates a gentle, warm breeze above or below your desk. I live in an attic above the garage, except for the bathroom, with no interior walls and a 12ft ceiling. It's cool in warm weather, but at this time of year I'd go to a poor house and try to afford heat. I have a large free standing tent over a sofa and chairs heated by a 1200 watt conventional heater. my guests like to "camp" inside. I also have a retractable retreat tent that fits nicely over a lounge chair as does a canopy that I pull over my computer desk. This heater keeps warm air flowing around me while the rest of my cave is forty degrees. For me it's perfect! I work on a computer in a large room. If you want to heat something more than one closet, then this is not your choice.
