Review on πŸ’Ž Dremel EZ545 1-1/2-Inch EZ Lock Diamond Wheel: Achieve Precision Cuts Effortlessly with Silver Wheel by Rich Ferguson

Works great but too expensive

They work really well but yes they are too expensive. .but i only use this expensive bike for one purpose. I use it to sharpen my large circular blades for my large saws. where precision means safety and reliability and there is no substitute. only the dremel brand wheels spin properly at the high end of the speed scale. Each carbide tooth on a blade must be sharpened the same way, at the same angle, to the same size, and support nearly the same weight. otherwise you have a very sharp object spinning at 5000rpm but dangerously unbalanced. This little wheel is the only diamond wheel I've found that fits my custom Dremel circular saw sharpener and spins at over 20,000 RPM that's the only reason I buy it. Otherwise I buy those cheap Chinese ones that swing before you put them on your Dremel. I've used them to sharpen drill bits, but you have to press the drill bit against the wheel before you even turn the Dremel on. The wheel bit keeps the cheap wheel from shaking your dremel to bits. lol. Do not remove the bit from the wheel until it almost stops turning. makes the job difficult, but works in a pinch
