My 15 year old Conair hair dryer eventually died (and almost burned my face) so I needed a new one. I hardly dry my hair. Usually in winter or for an event. When drying it I use the cool air setting, not the hot air setting. I needed a dryer with high airflow, really cool air, and that wasn't going to kill me. A safety plug was also required. Obviously the expensive ones aren't too different from the available ones, so I decided to try these. The weight suits me, although I don't know what's hard and what's not because I'm used to drying. My long hair is forever anyway. Cool air is cool indeed, and high settings are nice and powerful. Nozzles are beautiful. The cable is long enough. And the finish is nice and easy to wash if needed. I hate that sticky silicone rubber. I'm not sure if tourmaline is supposed to make my hair straight or not, but it makes my hair frizzy. After that, all I have to do is use a spray conditioner and I'm good to go. The only problem is that my hair gets easily sucked into the air inlet of the hair dryer. So I have to be careful how I angle it.
