This is a really nice watch case. I did not receive this case to protect my watch. I mainly wanted to change the color as I really don't like the rose gold from the Series 4. The case makes it beautiful. Also, it protects the watch well. There is a tiny edge that prevents the watch's screen from touching a flat surface and won't scratch the screen. The gold plating came off a bit when I accidentally slammed my hand against the wall, but up to this point I've had no problem wiping it off and have had the case for a couple of months now. The cutouts on the case are perfect and I had no problem turning the crown.
