Review on Walker Exhaust Ultra EPA 16098 Catalytic Converter - Direct Fit by Kyle Gresham

The catalytic converter fits perfectly with no problems. In general, the device made of thick sheet steel is well suited for flanges and thick-walled pipes. No OEM heat shield mounting points, but included shield will fit. I wouldn't use it for a production facility as the inlet occupies less than 50% of the area of the OEM cast block. It's essentially an oval hole in a round metal plate, while the OEM block is a very large diameter funnel leading to the exhaust. I'm not sure if the resulting turbulence and restriction has a significant impact on mileage or performance. The packaging left a lot to be desired, as the device lay loose in a large box without any packaging material. Overall a great value at $116.00.
