Light immediately malfunctioned on the ophthalmoscope

The first time I turned on the light on the ophthalmoscope, it wouldn't turn off. I had to take out the batteries in order to preserve the light. Alas, one time I didn't take out the batteries and the light burned out. I'm very sorry I paid so much money for this. Expected it to last for years.

Pros

Expected a bit ruggedness but good value for the money.

Cons

Do not buy these if you actually want to see anything in the eye.
