The first one was discovered to have a damaged flash drive, with no settings saved at all and around four faulty blocks. I had to adjust. Although there were already 7 bedov (apparently this is the norm for them), the second one had already been saved. Installed entware-ng and mc quietly. I had to purchase a few USB3 enclosures so I could insert files from old disks. As demonstrated by mc, copying via USB 3 can reach 90 Mb/s. I do not suggest using Samba for backups because Mitrastar's Chinese "optimizers" made a mistake. Instead, use FTP or NFS (extra package). If you want to tinker around, you can install a customized Debian.
