I ordered based on the size chart in the description. It says XXL/Sz8-9 is for 53-57 inch kids. My 7.5 year old is 53 inches and 66 pounds. It's very comfortable for him in length, too short for his torso, although he has some room to grow in the leg area (maybe 1 inch). I have ordered many sunsuits over the years and this is definitely my least favorite purchase. I do not recommend.
