Old but nice

TFTLCD looks like an old or obsolete component and while the Arduino makes it easy, it won't work 100% for the absolute beginner: the pin needs to be held firmly and moved slowly. The stylus is preferable because the fingers go away Lots of gray spots on the display. Flappy Birds will only work if you make the following changes: Install the adafruit/TFTLCD library from GITHUB. Change the following lines. SPFD5408_TouchScreen.h>.to.#include <Adafruit_GFX.h>#include <Adafruit_TFTLCD.h>#include <TouchScreen.h> Reset the device by compiling/downloading the default empty program that loads when you run the Opening Arduino IDE for the First Time Advanced users should be aware that TFTLCD occupies all available hardware resources, although there is an empty pin on TFTLCD that breaks the data and SPI pins.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Available in white only
