Works very well for photography. I mainly use them for storage and backup, but they're also very handy for backup when traveling. They will then be carried by me and not with photo equipment. The gear may go away, but at least the pictures will remain. At home I use them to back up RAW files and finished files. These are certainly not the fastest drives, but I don't need fast ones either. Fast can be good, but it doesn't have to be.
