This is a very compact invention of Brother Labelers and ZINK color photo printers. And we love it!

When we first heard about it and saw the trail I felt like I was missing something, for example between a relatively small size (somewhere between the size of a Big Mac and a Double Big Mac) and The lack of complex panel controls doesn't come to mind when you think of a "full-color, photo-quality printer." Now that we've spent most of today checking it out, it's all clear and very cool. First, it's one of those ZINK photo printers, so it prints photo quality without toner or ink. Unlike other color printers, the Zink has all the 'color' on the paper - I don't know what that means or how it works, but I also don't know how the 747 stays on the air and that doesn't stop me. from boarding the plane. Anyway it reminded me a lot of my Brother PC printer in terms of ease of use and ensuring it works and plays well with Wi-Fi etc, except it also prints full color photo quality labels from my phone, what is great for an on site facility as I don't need to conveniently boot up my laptop as we are building experimental POS for retail and trade show displays - and for the last 3 months local 'presence' for specific brands of spirits - all ' very square" things (shelf stands, table displays, standing signs) that requires a lot of testing and fine-tuning (on site) - it should always look like the final finished print sample. We've spent a small fortune getting this done so far - and without a rush fee - not only does this fit in my laptop bag, it prints these ZINK labels with precut edges so it's easy to peel the adhesive off the spine. and will not damage your nails, teeth or labels. The PC interface also has almost the same options as our existing P-touch, so there are multiple printouts and all other handy features. If you want to print 8 x 10, 5 x 7, or 3 x 5 prints then stick with both, but if you're like us and want a photo-quality (aka "professional" quality) full-color printer between the zinc-based print quality VC500W , compact size and the same ease of use as our P-touch labeller, this is our new most valuable MVP printer.
