Review on Hayden Automotive 3651 Universal Adjustable Thermostatic Fan Control Kit for Enhanced SEO by Larry Sabey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I had to try them.

They worked quite well while they lasted. Bought two and installed at the same time. One died after four months and the other died after six months. I connected one to one radiator fan and one to another radiator fan. Because cooling fans are known to draw more than 30 amps on startup. I took two to be on the safe side. One fan drew 25 amps and the other 20 amps. Perhaps in the future someone will install them other than under the hood. They get very hot no matter where they are installed. As a triple precaution, they even placed Schottky diodes next to the fuse holder in the circuit. The fans are fine. I rate them two stars because when they worked, they worked well. I'm not an amateur or new to any type of wiring. So I know exactly what I'm doing. There will be half price digital fan control and relay wiring.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
