Nowhere in the description above do I see the dB output level listed. When receiving, the output is -75 dB. This is 10dB lower than most dynamic microphone inputs require. For my application, this headset didn't even have enough power output to work. Other dynamic mics I have that have -65 to -60dB output work well for me so this one was returned after being found grossly inadequate. Don't even think about trying this with a computer sound card input without a large (at least 20dB) preamp. Koss has a headset with an SB-40 electret element that I have used with great success in situations where a high power electret element is required (like most computer sound card inputs). So this isn't a criticism of Koss, but rather the choice of low-frequency element in this headset.
