It works as advertised, has a good sense of reliability and the card slots feel nice and accurate rather than sloppy. Definitely worth its price. EDIT: I used this device about a week ago and it didn't read the chip. I took the chip out again and the light on the device just kept flashing like it did when I first turned it on. I unplugged it to try plugging it back in and when I unplugged it a message appeared on my screen saying jump to USB. Disconnecting the device caused a power surge that burned all the USB ports on my motherboard. I had to buy a new motherboard. Stay away from this item or be careful. I chose Kingston because I thought they had a quality product, apparently they didn't. And that happened exactly a year after I started it.
