Review on 🍺 Dernord Stainless Weldless Bulkhead Kettle: The Ultimate Brewing Solution by Fernando Beck

I bought this valve to replace the plastic 'tap' that comes with the 10 gallon cooler to turn it into a homemade mash tun. If it fits snugly into an existing hole so no drilling is required, that's definitely a plus. But unfortunately the length of the threaded section that goes into the hole is not long enough for the nut that comes with the valve AND any tool needed for use in the radiator (I use a bazooka screen, im Basically a cylinder of steel mass that clamps onto anything the size of a 1/2" NPT adapter. I ended up with a 1/2" NPT male to male and a 1/2" NPT -Used nipples on the inside of the cooler and I added a thick washer on the outside to make the sides of the cooler thicker so that the round silicone gasket inside the cooler compresses enough to get a watertight fit I was able to do that at Revain can't find it. Hey, this is a business idea!
