The venting was well under 20psi
The previous cap was vented so I bought a new one. If only ventilation. I bought a surge tank for a cooling system upgrade and this cap is also rated at 20psi and is not vented. I ended up using this cap only after sealing it as a section to connect to the expansion tank and a pivot pin to allow the system to draw water from the overflow tank.
