This is a comprehensive review of the black and gray variant of this product. (PA930) image quality. Image quality is much better than most webcams under $100. That's a lot better than the popular C920. Low light performance is outstanding. There's a bit of graininess, which is to be expected, but it's still very crisp. With optimal lighting, the image quality is comparable to a budget smartphone. This is very good for a webcam. I have attached a picture taken with a webcam and a picture of the lighting setup I used. Wide angle, resolution and frame rate. The wide angle is real 90°. The button above promises switching from 1080 30 to 1080 60 fps. While true, it's actually 2k 30 to 1080 60. 1080p60 is actually cropped (enlarged). This is a great feature as you can zoom in and out on calls by pressing the button on top. Microphone. The microphone is a mixed bag. That is very clear. Similar in quality to a blue snowball that is farther away than it should be. The main problem is that there is a lot of interference. It looks like there's a fridge nearby. It's not loud or annoying, but it's there. As the quality of the mics themselves is good I wouldn't call it a deal breaker. I'll try this webcam on my laptop later to see if it's a problem with my computer. Draft. - It looks amazing. This clearly reflects the design of Logitech's streaming camera, which I like as it looks very premium and stands out for its discretion. Only thing is, this thing is huge, way bigger than I thought it would be. I would not recommend using it with a laptop. In this case, please use the supplied tripod. For people on desktops this works perfectly and the cable is quite long. Verdict - This is probably the best webcam in the $100+ price range. Don't buy Logitech in this price range, they are outdated and a waste of money. The image quality on this thing is excellent in any light. Everything is fine with the microphones. If you need a webcam, just buy this one. You will not regret it.
