Great option for shelves!

After upgrading my bike with a Topeak rack I found that my taillights were not compatible or did not match the rack so I had to purchase a custom Topeak light. After looking at what was available and compatible with my rack, I settled on the Redlight Aura. After researching tail light options, I was under the impression that most of the bar post compatible versions were the type that mounted to the bracket I had. with stand. Those were the pros and cons. Being able to detach it if needed is a plus, but I was worried about it moving or detaching from the frame. I decided it was worth buying so I could use the stand while still having the much-needed and much-needed light. According to their customer service department, Aura is a new product for Topeak. So I searched the internet for the best price and bought it for less than $20. When I received it, I immediately liked its compact size, reflector/light design, and convenient power button. As soon as I took it out of the box I knew this flashlight would be a good option for two reasons, both of which eliminated my pros and cons mentioned above. The rear is designed to fit the mounting hardware I had, not with a clamp but with the supplied screw as seen on the factory reflectors. This eliminates the worry of having to take it off when leaving the bike in public or that it might fall off the stand. We also provided hardware to attach a seat post. The only thing I can't test is the visibility of the light while driving as I can't ask anyone to tell me how well it can be seen. Once I do I will update this review.
