The first had a fault in the spring on the button, so the light couldn't be turned on or off without pushing it with a screwdriver or something. The second turns on and off randomly. I have a Topeak rack and thought it could use the clip I used with the RedLite II. However, it is not possible to use the clip-on attachment with this lamp. The only option is to bolt it directly to the bracket that goes to the bar or seatpost. Potential buyers, I'm not looking for freebies from Topeak. That's my honest assessment. Do not buy. This light is an immature, poorly designed and poorly made poop for the following reasons: 1. The main benefit is that it integrates seamlessly with your Topeak luggage rack. However, the mounting tabs are too big for the rack mounting holes (I have an Explorer MTX rack).
