Tastes like plastic in a bag if you leave water in it. I try to use cold water if possible so as not to heat the plastic in the water. The included tool card is decent but has been unusable so far. Just makes more junk to include things most people will never use. I wish they used this to make better bubbles that don't smell like plastic. I doubt this material is BPA free
