You get what you pay for. The lighting works well, the LED is nice and bright, but the remote only works if you bend it into a certain or happy position. I found that bending the top left corner would allow the battery to plug in and work for a short time, for which I tried out a few features like lights that move to the beat of your music, which was neat. However, once this is done, the lights also change color to all different colors and have no way of staying the same color and responding to music of different intensities. I have a black one with a red theme that comes with my car and wanted the lights to stay red with it but I don't have that option so luckily I only wanted the red lights so I customized the controller to do that that he fixes them to red the off button on the 12v converter and throw away the junk remote that came with it. Also glad they were cheap.
