Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Wheel Master 700c Front Wheel - Quick-Release, 36H, Black (MSW)/Black/Steel - Enhanced Performance and Durability by Carlos Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Here is a good description

I think I will give a good description to help others make the right purchase decision. 100mm hub compatible with 5 hole discs. It comes with a quick release skewer. I'm happy with this bike because I wanted it for commuting (but I wouldn't put it on a bike I want to go fast because it's too heavy and creates too much drag as a result). many spokes). This is an interesting beast as it can be used on both rim and disc brake bikes. The bearings feel a bit hard and there was some oil dripping onto the hub on one side. Since the bike looks good overall, I'm going to make two assumptions: 1) sometimes the manufacturers tighten the bearings a little so they'll adjust better as they wear, and 2) I'm hoping the oil drop is just a sign that the bearing Lubricant comes off a bit. . That said, I'm not worried about it and won't be re-lubricating and re-adjusting the bearings right away. This wheel has Weinmann Zac 19, rim brake compatible, Presta valve, double wall rim. . This rim is 23.4 mm wide on the outside, measured over the entire braking surface. The internal dimension where the bead collars meet the tire sidewalls is 18.75mm (of course the full internal dimension is larger). These sizes are good because they reduce pinching of narrow tires and also allow you to use larger tires. On this ride I will be fitting tires up to 32cc. I suspect the 23rd would be fine too, except Christian B. says in the Q&A section that the smallest should be 28cc. The rim depth, measured as the ratio of the outer outer diameter to the outer inner diameter, is 16.2 mm. So not very deep. No rim tape is supplied so you will need to transfer the tape from your old rim or purchase new tape. The spokes and nipples are silver, the hub and rim are black, and the braking surface of the rim is silver. There is no depth indicator groove on the rim's braking surface - I consider this a plus because the extra material means the rim will last longer if eroded/sand scraped on rainy days. Wheel weight - without skewer, rim tape, tube or tire - 1060 grams. So not light, but not very heavy either if we are talking about a cheap commuter bike.
