Pipes are not as strong as other shoe racks I've bought in the past. And the corner connectors are made of cheaper plastic. After assembling the shoe rack properly, I placed our shoes on the shoe rack. (Reasonable, right?). The flimsy connectors were literally bent/broken and all ten rows of shoes landed on the floor. I attributed it to the weight distribution so I removed the broken parts and made sure everything was secure and stable. nope Bent, collapsed and shattered plastic leaving another pile of shoes on the floor. Terrible quality. Very disappointed. Throw it away after the third try... you know how it ended. Sorry for the negative rating, but the quality was poor. Never again.
