Advantages: 1) Almost weightless 2) Bright light, 3) "Multi" version automatically changes color! 4) No - flashing: no guessing! Cons: 1) Batteries fall out easily when paper is removed to turn on 2) No on/off switch - they are basically "on" until they run out of charge. Christmas lights just don't work. I really like how each light changes color automatically so you don't have to worry about trying to match the lights to the background. I "upgraded" each light by removing the paper and then taped a thin strip of aluminum over the batteries to hold them. I need to glue the bottom of each light fixture (separately) to the hardboard to display it the way I want it. Then all I have to do is turn on each light. is to remove the tape and strip and then screw each to the base. Mission accomplished. !
