The hole in my steel door looks like it was gnawed by a metal-eating creature, so installing a new set of levers didn't go as planned. The set of latches had two positions and nothing in between was impossible, so I had a tiny gap on the back of the pad that just couldn't be filled with panels in newer sets, which are now considered standard size. It was impossible to get rid of him so the only option was to cover for him and that helped. Nothing to say except that it matched the set of levers and everything looks pretty good but it was just one of the two things I had to buy to get this lock to fit properly, the other was a new deadbolt to hide any previous mistakes. For a few dollars and very little work, he easily solved my problem with no power tools and lots of dust.
