Review on Bathfinesse Waterfall Widespread Bathroom Handles: Enhancing Accessibility and Style by Johnny Chambers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor instructions, no guarantee

(1) There is no backup for this product. It comes in a plain box with no company name. There is no company name in the manual, no contact information, no specifications, no parts list and NO LEAD FREE MARKING. If you google the company's name on this Revain list, their website is a stubborn placeholder with no product or contact information. If this product fails (and fails for some other reviewers), you are SOL. (2) Instructions are a joke: - Almost no words, just pictures. - It is not specified whether to hand tighten only or use a wrench. (Tip: Always hand-tighten hoses with washers. If you tighten them with a wrench, you can over-compress the washer and damage it, causing leaks.) This omission in the instructions causes many homeowners to inadvertently replace their damage hoses. - Step 12 asks you to run the valves for 15 seconds before connecting (presumably to the outlet), which is not possible as the hoses are not connected to the plumbing until Step 13. I'm including the full instructions so you can see what goes into the installation. I can't judge the performance of the faucet itself as it doesn't fit my sink (4 "with central position") because the spout is too wide.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubt
