For my purposes I need a strong, pointed disposable serving fork. Compared to other wooden toothpick/bamboo fork options, this item stands out, especially because the handle is strong and won't break if you pierce something with it. However, I find two annoying flaws: First, the sharp end isn't actually sharp, it's actually blunt, causing the fork to bounce off food targets. Second, the thickness of the bamboo material varies dramatically from piece to piece; some forks are so thin that they become brittle and may break during use; others made of bamboo are so thick that the already mentioned dullness of the "sharp" end is even worse. Conclusion: Poorly made ones have to be sorted out and thrown away. However, given the alternatives, I turn to this unprofessional product. I would switch to an alternative product in a heartbeat, but so far none has materialized.
