This is a durable, well made, high quality USB microscope. Unlike some other bulky toy scopes, this one is slim and easy to hold like a pencil if you want to use it that way. It's easy to set up on the stand, and the focus knob on top of the scope is accurate. There is a dial on the USB cable to adjust the brightness of the 8 LEDs inside the head and a button to easily take a picture. I had no problems and am very happy with the purchase. comes with a CD that has a few basic viewers, but I recommend getting the free VLC media player for best results.
