I love this monitor (pictured right)! I also have two other touchscreen models from Acer (pictured left and center), but this one has the best build quality, latency, connectivity, and tactile feel. However! I was under the impression that power could come from the USB-C port, but unfortunately that's not the case. I can get USB, Touch HID, and DisplayPort Alternate Mode working with a USB-C connection, but the monitor isn't getting power. The AC adapter is still required, as also stated in the troubleshooting section of the manual (it tells you to plug in the AC adapter if you can't get power, ok). The low bevel and plastic design are perfect for my cramped desk and even better for portability. I traveled a lot with my Acer glass touchscreen and in fact it eventually broke. Don't worry about that and it fits much better in my flight case! The feel of plastic is much nicer in my opinion! Less slippage under the fingers and less glare. The stand is very heavy and durable. The monitor itself clearly predominates. Better position than other Acer touchscreens with better positioning options. The only downside is that I can't attach my VESA mount NUC to the back of the stand when traveling. Impressive.
