Sturdy and not very noticeable. They are securely fastened to the benches. We use them to attach a rope to mark social distancing lanes. My only wish was for a small part of the hook to be longer/higher so things could be attached more securely without fear of slipping off on impact. For the rope it doesn't really matter, but if it was holding up the decoration of a bench for a wedding etc I would also use a zip tie or something to make sure it doesn't fall off.
