On my 2004 Honda Pilot the front and rear passenger side latch actuators had failed (although not at the same time). Browsing the web I found several guides and diagrams for the door and accessories. The comments I saw online suggested they were door lock actuators. Luckily Amazon sold the right part. I bought two. However, getting them was a real task! I had to buy an impact wrench (a screwdriver that can be hit with a hammer) to remove the three door screws holding the latch assembly. It took a lot of punches to get rid of her. The rest was pretty easy as far as working with the door goes. The only other minor issue was that I couldn't completely remove the front latch as one of the push rods didn't seem to release well. So I worked with the assembly in the door. Inserting the drive into the back panel is much more difficult, but the assembly is completely removed, allowing you to sit on the workbench and get the job done. I replaced the drives, reseat the assembly and everything worked. It's been a month or more and they're still working great.
