The product corresponds to the description. It's easy to install at first, but once you start getting to the edges it gets tricky. I wrapped the hood of a 2018 F-150. The plans included a bumper, but I didn't order enough material. If you are making a hood, take an 18 inch wide piece. Anyway, this was my first installation and I learned a lot. Take your time, use the 3M Sliding Mortar Mixture. I recommend using filtered water for this. Deionized water feels stickier, so it goes well with a sticky solution. Treat the product with a hard squeegee. In the end I took the one intended for window tinting. I find 3M PA1 too soft. I found I had to stretch the material towards the outer edges of the construction to give it the shape of the hood. I tried using my palm to limit the stretch marks. Time will tell if I did the right thing. This is definitely one of the most difficult DIY jobs to do. Just take your time and keep the material moist. It can be helpful to have a second pair of hands for the first time.
