This is a good system for small areas, but there are a few things to consider. First, if you have never used anything like this and know nothing about the paint grinding and polishing process, you may have unrealistic expectations from this tool. Orange peel skin or deep scratches are not removed. It does an excellent job of polishing a surface that has nothing but swirl marks on it. That's all it's for. I had a collision with the garage door frame resulting in a navy blue car being painted white. To remove paint you need a more aggressive system than this (Meguiar's makes pads and compounds for it). After I removed the paint, this system did a very good job of removing the remaining swirl marks. My first attempts were unsuccessful. Please note that it says "shake well" on the paint. My bottle was completely full and until I emptied it a bit and shook the bottle vigorously, nothing happened. After shaking (not stirring) it worked very well. And I only used an 850rpm drill so it took a little longer.
