probably good for indoor use - doesn't work well in a car.
These would probably be fine for domestic indoor use, but in a hot environment in a car in the sun the adhesive will separate from the plastic bond but stick firmly to the inside of the car (making it a great PITA to remove) . I think it's because there isn't enough flat contact area on the back of the plastic base (I had the 3/4" version). There are also casting artifacts (dimples) that further reduce the effective surface area.
