It works and doesn't get stuck

The profile may be a bit high compared to others but it does the job, comfortably holds a few cords/wires and most importantly stays in place. To avoid "hook" types, you'll be picking them off the floor in a day or two if you connect more than one USB controller cable.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

This is an amazing cable management kit

This kit contains just about everything you need to create a custom cable management system for any PC you build. The retaining elements fit well and are designed to hold all cables in place equally well, wherever you want to place them. It has a wide range of different sizes, so even the largest bundles of cables can be managed. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Expandable

Ideal for cable management!

I have a large vintage cistern style desk that was craving for cables now that I have my personal and work PC on the same desk. They did a great job of hiding the wires and keeping them clean. I've even used them to hide under my table, saw some cords from a router table I added and they hold up well in the hot Arizona summer.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Clarity

didn't work on our app!

Used in a historic theater so we didn't have to drill any holes. Disappointed with the results! Only holds 2-3 ethernet cables and keeps coming off. They are applied to painted surfaces that we would prefer not to poke holes in, the surface has been previously wiped with alcohol wipes. But they just keep falling. The spacing was between 12 and 24 inches and made no difference.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons

Great cable management tool

I bought these with a bit of skepticism as I didn't want to screw or drill holes in my desk. I was concerned about the tape's adhesion to brushed metal. After putting a few on and testing them for strength, I was pleasantly surprised that they held up very firmly. I had one that I placed in the wrong place and had to remove it, which took some effort to separate from the metal. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to secure cables.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Flaws

AND ZAP! No more cables!

Best product! Why the hell did it take me so long to find this article. I hate hate hate wires! They go everywhere! Well, not anymore! You like magic, don't you? Then do it already! Just buy it! Peel off the paper. wall tab. Really grab that wire tight. Holds firmly to the wall even with large power cords and power adapters! That plus a couple of wall mounts for game consoles. And a. two. you. ZAP! No more cables!

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • So-so

Poor adhesion on powder coated aluminum

We used these to hang a 24 foot row of LED outdoor lights in our new patio gazebo so we didn't have to drill holes with each light and one between each light. approximately one for each linear foot. Several of them fell off the next day. By the end of the week most of them had fallen off. Either the adhesive isn't strong enough to hold the lights in place, or they just don't stick well to the powder-coated aluminum patio furniture.

Pros
  • Wire Routing
Cons
  • Not sure

Adhesion issues with powder coated aluminum

Looks like this is just what I need for hanging Christmas lights in my gazebo. Powder-coated aluminum pergola. The paint is black and shiny. So far I have had six adhesion errors out of 30 applications. My wife and I applied the product on a sunny day when it was around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. We had very light wind and no cold weather yet. I am worried that the clutch will not work in winter. As a side note, the double sided sticky foam is white so we used a black Sharpie marker to paint theโ€ฆ

secures cords in place

I rent out for holidays and provide cords so guests can plug in chargers and cords from the stereo to plug in and play music from their phones if they wish . However, the cords kept disappearing, so I wanted to make sure the guest didn't get confused and take with them cords that they may have mistaken for their own but actually belong to the cabin. So I attached the inner cables with self-adhesive cable ties and holders. Of course, adhesive mounts won't stop anyone from intentionally stealingโ€ฆ
