and I really liked the idea

Bought these to make homemade knit leashes for my dogs. My dog trainer does this because they are lightweight and versatile and I really like the idea. These brackets are great for this purpose. So far they've proven to be durable (my dogs are only 50 pounds and don't pull very hard) and they're nice and light so they don't pull on the collar with their weight like traditional leashes usually do. I currently train my dogs with spiked collars and I don't want to have too much tension on the collar so they are perfect for that.
