Review on Spin-X 100 12X CD-R: Premium Digital Audio Music Disc - 80min 700MB Shiny Silver by Troy Rotermund

I ordered these discs for use in a TDK 2 disc recorder. It took some time to figure out which side was the recording side due to the glossy finish on both sides. I finally figured out that the little "Music CD-R" printed on the inside of the CD should face up. I was wondering if the permanent marker recording on these discs would interfere with playback, but it didn't cause any problems. These discs work great in my recorder. As others have pointed out I was a bit worried about the packaging without the plastic holder but they arrived safe and sound. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I would have preferred a varnished finish on the non-writable side, but for the price I think they're great.
