Cartridges require venting

Cartridges are registered as genuine and working Canon cartridges. When I create a standard quality full color document, I have noticed that the lines are misaligned, which may just be a printer test. Colors are dull in quality for a scatterplot. Again, it could be the printer, or I started a thicker stack of paper (24) that isn't very smooth. One problem I have with these cartridges is that the ink starts to bleed like it's clogged. I looked at Canon's website out of curiosity and stood there to make sure the hole in the top front isn't covered. Of course, these cartridges have a "do not remove" sticker, but it covers the blowhole. Essentially, the cartridge creates a vacuum inside when ink is used. You can see the ink being closer to the back of the cartridge (large clear image). I have one Canon left to compare and of course. All you have to do is peel off the sticker and cut through the plastic seal where the breathing hole is and it will print normally again. So ignore this warning! I've never had a "fogging" problem with these guys, so I feel like I just need to calibrate the printer. No photo printing, just mostly black (in draft mode to save.). But for some reason all colors merge. Easy life with an inkjet printer. I tried to print a colorful cartoon on glossy photo paper and it came out without streaks, colors as you would expect from a cartoon. (Full color 5x7).
