These jars are ideal for candle making. They have no seams so you don't have to worry about the wax coming out. They work well with hot wax. The only criticism is that the color does not match the picture. It's very muted and more like faded or dull gold. I can hardly tell it's rose gold. Not sure if it's a rose gold color but the tag says "rose gold". This was really disappointing as I wanted to use it for gifts. Since the color is faded, I had to remove the star. I use these jars for wick testing.
