Attention! Can cause damage! We used these carts to move a 900 lb gun safe (each weighs 1000 lbs so weight wasn't an issue). We put the safe on its side so it doesn't get drunk in transit. The carts often slipped when we moved, but we were able to roll the safe well from carpet to hardwood, concrete and eventually into POD. However, when we returned the safe to its upright position, we found significant damage to the safe. The whole page was stoned. We found Cartmats to be a joke. There are screws under the carpet padding that practically protrude through the padding and damaged the safe when moving. Warranty claim sent. I don't know if they will do anything for us but we will post an answer when we get it. Moving light objects may not be a problem, but be sure to put something heavy and flush on the padding!
