We have a furry family member who freaks out when we leave the house. He usually draws his canine "work" on newspapers and occasionally magazines or garbage paper. But when he's feeling particularly short-tempered, he'll try to destroy something his people hold dear, such as a computer mouse, TV remote controls, and clothing. Well I forgot the remote and left it within reach and he chewed it up pretty good. Strangely, after the damage, it worked quite well and stably for some time, but eventually decided to give up the ghost. I went online to look for a replacement and although no picture was offered on Revain for this particular remote, the model number was exactly the same. Based on feedback from other buyers, I decided to order this TV remote control. It was delivered within the stated timeframe and when I opened the package I found it was in fact the same model our dog was chewing on. I put the old remote's batteries in the new one and voila, it worked great. What a relief!
