I rarely write reviews so be warned: this product stinks. First the good: You can buy this on Amazon for less than $50 if you're lucky. I think I paid around $70-$80. They're super comfortable and stylish if you're looking for an affordable take on the clean classic leather sneaker that brands like Regular Projects have turned into a (expensive) modern icon. now they cannot be worn. I've wondered about leather from the start and decided to try to be extra careful with them but the leather immediately started to deteriorate with my pants rubbing a nice brown on the left boot and fading to a lighter color underneath, see my Picture. Seriously, I think the top paint is airbrushed or something. The paint then began to peel off the toe of the left boot, revealing a light brown underneath. The final straw was that I accidentally stepped on a piece of tape and it touched the sock. my shoes. I took it off and the skin color came out! Now the shoes are totally uncomfortable. Oddly enough, the leather on the right shoe also degrades noticeably, but not as quickly as the left shoe. My recommendation: If you're looking for shoes that will look brilliant at an event or two, this is a great choice, but if you want to use this look as part of your regular wardrobe, then look elsewhere: a breeze from a butterfly's wing can bleach these puppies 🦋
