A bit expensive but worth it. Even my husband agrees. He was great as a newborn when everyone wanted to hold him, especially brothers and sisters, grandparents. Supported his head and writhing body to give them more confidence and reassure me. Now that he is almost 10 weeks old I use him on his tummy wherever I am in the house except he always falls asleep like the picture shows. The little pillow is perfect for lying on his stomach on kitchen tile and hardwood floors without worrying about banging his head through the ceiling onto a hard surface or maintaining his position on a boppie. I like this better than using the blanket on the carpet as the blanket fits snugly and doesn't bunch up around his face as he alternates between doing push ups and resting. His sisters also find out that this is his place of work, which helps them not mess with him while I'm cooking. The second layer is a must as I can't find 2 hours a day to wash and dry it and I don't want to use it. Withstands regular wash/dry cycles without shrinking or tearing fibres/stitches. The cover is not waterproof so saliva will get onto the mat.
