This device is better than using counterfeit pen. It will tells you right away if the bill passes it fails, but only one problem is that sometimes it has to run few times to tell. The bills have to be new and straight to run thru for one time only, if not, you have to run through few times to get it pass. That’s why I gave four star instead of five! This device can use either batteries or power plug. I just use power plug, so can’t tell how long will the batteries last.Also, be sure you have the hand there to catch the bill. The bill flies out quickly:)
