Big fat oh on this one. First problem: I was installing brackets in some very old ceiling joists using a ratchet wrench. Maybe I should have drilled larger pilot holes, but the screw that came with the kit broke in two. I went to my local Ace hardware and bought some better quality screws. Second problem: I'm used to those things with bad instructions, but they top the list of terrible ones. I would never have figured out how to thread rope over pulleys if I hadn't found a video on YouTube showing how to do it. The first step in the instructions was completely wrong, after that it turned into real gibberish. Maybe someone could tell from the chart, but I wasn't and I consider myself smarter than the average bear. Third question: The straps that come with it are not adjustable. I wanted to install this in a garage with a ceiling about 9/12 feet from the deck. This system lets it hang about 4.4 1/2 feet off the ground. There's no real memory gain here. What a very disappointing purchase.
