Works well enough for motorcycles and power sports

Vt1300 2013. The metal parts themselves are heavy duty metal. They do NOT feel cheap. I didn't drill my fender to access the pre-drilled holes in the frame. I emerged from under the rear wing. And it was a pain in the ass. Looks more elegant. But still annoying. I used my angle grinder instead of buying new shorter screws. worked fine My only concern is that I want to buy longer support brackets. These are a bit short. Maybe they fit on another bike. But I found them a bit short. It was a pain to install. It's so bad to just leave things the way they are. If I could change everything I would have taken longer brackets. I saw another seller had 9.5 inches. And I was able to drill through the fender because I found it very difficult/time consuming to get under. Total time including bolt cutting and installation was around 3-3.5 hours. And my fingers hurt. Ha ha. Doesn't look like the saddlebags will get scratched. But I feel it's a lot safer when the ties are longer. TO EDIT! DO NOT mount under the rear fender of a 2013 vtx 1300. The bolts are so stuck they scratched the tire when I hit a bump. Now I have a cut that goes around the perimeter of the entire hoop. Not deep enough to puncture a tire. But noticeable. You have to drill the fender from the outside. to keep my saddlebags from hitting the tire
