Meh they do the job

In the end they do what they're supposed to do but the quality is pretty poor, my kit came with four hex bolts and they have burrs that can't mess with be tightened with an Allen key. When it's in place and all other screws are tightened and secured, it's not a big deal, but it still makes for a bad product. But for $20, it's what I expected.

Pros
  • Best of all
Cons
  • Pretty ok

Great bag mount for the money

Bought for a 2013 Triumph Speedmaster. I couldn't find an OEM part from Triumph - the part is no longer made. Bought this support for Viking bags. For the money I'm very excited. I have black, not chrome, and I believe black is the best choice - much easier to touch up if needed. You will most likely need to purchase bolts (size and length) for your specific bike. The screws supplied were not suitable for the Triumph application. Post mounts add 3/4 inch to screw length. In my opinion a veryโ€ฆ

Pretty good inexpensive support bars

They're universal so you know they'll never be as good as what's common for your car. But these are very good for the money. I use them to support Ogio softbags on a 2015 FJ09 and they are exactly what I was looking for. They are great for preventing bags from sagging under the wing. Time will tell how they hold up over the long term, but I think they'll do just fine with padded pockets. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, you'll probably go to a hardware store, or you might not. All Iโ€ฆ

Requires a trip to the hardware store

Easy DIY design. I'm pretty sure it will fit any bike with minimal modifications as long as you get creative. Main Cons: Frame size is smaller than I would like for my medium sized bags; It doesn't clean my harness, but luckily where I was able to mount it I had enough room to stow my bags right behind the harness. The tiny screws they give you to put the pieces together are a JOKE. I've never dropped bolts so many times in my life - they're so small and hard to hold on to. They're also tooโ€ฆ

  • This is great

Works well enough for motorcycles and power sports

Vt1300 2013. The metal parts themselves are heavy duty metal. They do NOT feel cheap. I didn't drill my fender to access the pre-drilled holes in the frame. I emerged from under the rear wing. And it was a pain in the ass. Looks more elegant. But still annoying. I used my angle grinder instead of buying new shorter screws. worked fine My only concern is that I want to buy longer support brackets. These are a bit short. Maybe they fit on another bike. But I found them a bit short. It was a painโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good value for money

  • Available in white only
