I thought this would be an even better pencil sharpener to replace my regular $10 electric sharpener that has lasted me for 20 years BUT it is not. I bought this because my kids went back to school this year and my little handheld pencil sharpener for rare pencil sharpening couldn't handle it. tree to the end. Due to the auto-off function, you could not sharpen further. I kept it for months and spent a lot of time online looking for tips and tricks to fix this uneven sharpening but nothing worked and given the price I wouldn't need to spend hours online trying to figure out how something works. so easy to work properly! A small problem was that it only produced sharp spikes sometimes. In the end I gave up and returned. I'll admit I might have a lemon, but I'll still rate it 1 star.
