We have a wall mount in the corner and wanted to put the audio equipment behind the TV in an unused space behind that wall. This was the PERFECT solution for managing remote functions. We didn't install a single IR receiver on the TV that would allow us to control the AV receiver, Roku, Apple TV, and even the old-school OTA outdoor antenna motor. The hardest part of the setup was finding the IR window on the Apple TV. A bright flashlight at an angle really helps. I love that you can even use the TV's USB port to power the IR receiver. The adhesive is excellent so make sure you choose your mounting locations in advance. The cables are very long but can be extended with a 3.5mm mono cable if needed. The light on the IR receiver is a muted green so it's not obtrusive at all. I'm glad to see there are crazy light blue or red LEDs in the world. Very satisfied with the purchase and the quality of the product. Highly recommended.
