Amazing sheets for the price

These are hands down the most comfortable sheets I have ever slept on. This is my first linen bedding experience, so I have no comparison. I looked at other linen towels on the net, there are many on Etsy, but I was concerned about the high price and the impossibility of returning them. Through Revain Prime, I was able to purchase the Royal Linen 4-piece bedding set for only $128.99, which is an amazing price considering most sets cost at least $400 and up. The reason for the low cost is that they are made in China and not in Europe, Australia or the USA. The manufacturer claims that the fabric is Belgian, but they are sewn in China. They are really soft and will continue to get soft with washing and sleeping and really break down after about 5 washes. What I don't like about these sheets is that the fitted sheet keeps loosening, I don't know why, maybe it's the looseness of the linen fiber that softens and relaxes as you sleep on it, or just not enough material. I have a prana sleep mattress and it is about 12-13 inches thick so about standard. The pillowcases are also very large and too big for my standard sized pillows so I fold them so it doesn't really matter. The flat sheet is perfect, of sufficient size. I bought a light gray linen embroidery fabric, lighter than I thought it would be, but the color is growing on me. The folds are linen, namely linen. Personally I prefer to iron them, for me this smooths out the texture of the fibers making them less "pimpley" to the touch and softer. If you don't have the time or inclination to iron them, I recommend not over-drying them in the dryer, and when they're done making the bed immediately or they'll keep creasing. Laundry is best dried on an outdoor clothesline, but most of us don't have clotheslines anymore. After sleeping on these sheets for a month I can honestly say I will never go back to cotton. If you are going through menopause or have a fever while sleeping you will love these pieces, they are so breathable and feel good, cool in the summer and warm when you need them. I can't wait to go to bed at night and don't want to get up in the morning they are so beautiful. Depending on how long they last, I could afford the next set of sheets and buy them from Rough Linen. They're definitely more expensive and the lack of a fitted sheet bothered me (they use flat sheets on both the bottom and top) but after the issues I've had with the fitted sheet I can't really give them a shot. If this is your first experience with linen sheets like mine I wouldn't hesitate to try them, I'm sorry it took me so long to discover them.
